The summer is coming to an end; however, it’s not quite over. This means that there are plenty of exciting activities and events scheduled during September across Bergen and Essex County in New Jersey. 1. The Royal Canadian International Circus Performing at American Dream – September 14th-23rd
This is the very first time in history The Royal Canadian International Circus (RCIC) will visit New Jersey. Its Big Top will be set up at 1 American Dream Way for 14 shows. RCIC is a contemporary, family-oriented, family-friendly circus event that has entertained families for more than 50 years. 2. Visit the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus, NJ
The Bergen County Zoo is one of the most loved and family-friendly Zoo in Bergen County. What makes this Bergen County Zoo special is the emphasis on the wildlife of North as well as South America. Visitors are able to observe some of the rarest and most exotic species, including Baird’s Tapir, Andean Condor, American Alligator, and Golden Lion Tamarin. The Zoo aims to create and maintain exhibits that emphasize natural behavior, encourage long-term health, and promote breeding success.
3. Visit the Hermitage Museum in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ
The Hermitage Museum in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, is a nationally significant historic landmark. In the American Revolution, it was situated in the middle of two sides: the British in the middle and both Americans. Visitors will have the chance to visit the mansion, which dates back to 250 years old, where the joy of nature is evident throughout the rooms. On September 16, the Museum will host an event called the Hermitage Food Truck Festival between 11 am and 5 pm. 4. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Lyndhurst, NJ
The event is unlike anything else. The most skilled knights will be battling with strength and steel to decide who will keep the throne. 5. Experience Millburn’s Rocktoberfest
Millburn’s Rocktoberfest in September isn’t simply a normal music festival that is aimed at music enthusiasts. It’s an enjoyable, interesting, thrilling, and memorable event that children and adults can take advantage of. It will feature an exciting variety of food options and shopping options, cultural events, and inclusive events that anyone can enjoy…regardless of age. There is also the Montclair Farmers’ Market, which is held each weekend at Walnut Street Train Station. It is a gathering of local farmers and food vendors selling a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, ready-to-eat products, baking goods, desserts, as well as flowers and others.
